Peace of Mind
An old soul before I was 3ft tall, before adulthood I was a manchild forced to grow up. A protector of my little brother, “We couldn’t tell you anything at 7years old”. A constant reminder of how children absorb too much from their environment. Cowering from the world I was a child of darkness, from the emergency room to a center for abandoned children. I was unwanted and poisoned before I was old enough to know it. The abuse became my best friend, later to become my greatest key to reset and rebirth. I understand now. Here to teach, here to learn, and here to free minds of scared youth. Voices unheard who beg to be noticed. Future leaders defeated before they’ve risen. I fight for you, our stories are all one of great toil! If there is work left to be done then so I rise!
Raised within a den of wolves I ran with the pack
Knapsack on my back with voices of truth and love leading the way
I strayed from the path to reach a summit of self
Toward the pain, I plummeted castaway on a journey to the unknown
I felt like E.T. seeking to phone home to the stars once roamed
Nothing is set in stone, Just a vessel in an infinite cyclone of wonder
From life to death, love is the ultimate test
Towards the future, I manifest as the past lays to rest on this angelic quest
I promised to do my best as I am here to fight once more
Bless the mess I am nestled against her breast
Divine mother ushers my steps.
“We can ignore even pleasure. But pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”
― C.S. Lewis
From here the chapters only get better, as you become partners with time, All else seems to fade away as in stillness. The silence of the heart and mind brings silence to the past. As it allows you to be in love with today the new you. Old incarnates were we as we needed to be but serve no more. Not to forget but to use as we strengthen each other and grow like Sequoia trees!
Thank You for sharing your Love! Yes, You! I believe in You!
